Ingredients
  • 3 eggsslightly beaten
  • 115 oz can pumpkin
  • 2/3cup sugar
  • 1/2teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4teaspoons cinnamon
  • 3/4teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4teaspoon cloves
  • 1/4teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 1/3cups evaporated milk
  • 1/2cup molasses
  • 2 pie shells
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine eggs and pumpkin.
  3. Add sugar, salt and spices to pumpkin mixture.
  4. Stir in evaporated milk. Add molasses and blend.
  5. Prepare your pie shells. I use pre-made pie crust. You can use homemade; your choice.
  6. Pour half of your mixture into each of the pie shells. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted 2 inches from edge comes out clean.
  7. Cool. Serve with a garnish of whipped cream.
