Beer Bread

Hearty and great with chili or stew!

Servings 1 loaf

Ingredients

  • 3 cups self rising flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 12 ounces beer
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Instructions

  • Combine flour, sugar and beer until it forms a quick bread dough.
  • Pour dough into greased loaf pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
  • Pour the melted butter over the bread loaf and back another 15 minutes.

Notes

If you don't have self rising flour, then use:
3 cups all purpose flour
3/4 teaspoons salt
4 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
