Beer Bread
Hearty and great with chili or stew!
Prep Time 5 minutes minutes Cook Time 55 minutes minutes
- 3 cups self rising flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 12 ounces beer
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Combine flour, sugar and beer until it forms a quick bread dough.
Pour dough into greased loaf pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
Pour the melted butter over the bread loaf and back another 15 minutes.
If you don't have self rising flour, then use:
3 cups all purpose flour
3/4 teaspoons salt
4 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
