Conch Republic Seafood Company

The Conch Republic Seafood Company is located at 631 Greene Street and it’s the perfect location to watch the boats, the water and all of the fun happening down at the waterfront.

The menu features fresh catch of the day items, and when we say fresh catch, we mean fresh.  You can sit inside the restaurant and watch the boats unload their catch of the day.  Every seat has a great view and if the weather gets too hot (or cold) they roll down the doors and provide a safe haven.

We recently enjoyed a leisurely lunch.  The crab cakes were fresh and tasty.  The lunch special was pecan crusted yellow tail salad.  It was really good.  The fish was fresh and had a great crunch and the salad was full of great stuff (not just prettied up lettuce).  The portions were big so we had an opportunity to pass our plates around and share.

Want to sit at the bar?  Go ahead.  They have a 80 foot bar where the bartenders make you feel at home and that you never, ever, want to leave. They tout they are the largest rum bar between Miami and Cuba with over 80 rums from all over the world.  We tasted a few in the daiquiris and pina coladas we drank.

They have live music every night and Happy Hour runs from 4-7 pm daily.  What’s the Happy Hour special?  2 for 1 for beer, premium well drinks and house wines.

Stop by on your way to Sunset and enjoy a drink (or two) and live music and then plan to come back for a late dinner.
