Key West’s First Legal Rum Distillery is a must stop.  Located at 105 Simonton, this place offers a great variety of locally made rums in unique flavors.  The owner is a chef and uses his experiences to create flavors to entice new converts to his rum.

You can take tours on Monday, Wednesday or Fridays – be sure to check for times.  The other days you can take a self guided tour.  The place offers a lot of history and interesting facts on making rum.

Of course, feel free to partake in a rum tasting – we haven’t tried one we didn’t like!
