Join me as I chat with Kim Stamps, owner & operator, of Up the Keys Tours. Her tours take you all over the Keys. We talk about the different tours she offers, from half-day, full-day and custom tours.
The Full Day option takes you about halfway up the Keys, about 50 miles. The Half Day option takes you about 30 miles up.
Kim takes her guests to Bahia Honda, The Blue Hole and on a Key Deer Safari. Interested in dolphins? She offers tours that include the Dolphin Research Center and the option to actually swim with the dolphins.
Did you know you could see an alligator on the tours? Several alligators live in The Blue Hole, and if you are lucky, you just might see them.
One interesting note about her tours is her in-depth knowledge she has of the area. Kim will tell you stories and answer questions during the entire trip. Want to know the story about the railroad, or the origins of the National Key Deer Wildlife Refuge? Just ask! On these tours expect to learn the history, culture, and legends of the Keys.
Learn how she ended up in Key West … it’s a really interesting story.
Maybe you are interested in a custom tour. Up the Keys Tours can take care of that as well. You pick the stops and, viola, a custom tour is created.
Interested in trying some of the Keys’ Tiki Bars? Find out about her newest tour … Tiki tour!
Tours return back to Key West, usually, just in time for Happy Hour and sunset. So, this is the perfect way to spend a morning or afternoon, or even a full-day, exploring the Keys.
Wondering what you should take on one of the tours? Kim and I talk all about what to bring… I bet you guessed one of the items is a camera!
