I love ice cream… I love sundaes…. I love… well you get the point. When I found this recipe, I thought I definitely needed to try it.
You can make this with milk chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate, white chocolate, butterscotch or dark chocolate chips… whatever you like the best.
Stir the coconut oil and chips together in a microwave safe bowl. Place in microwave and cook on high for about 30 seconds. Remove and stir. Continue microwaving and stirring in 15 second intervals until all of the chocolate is melted. Remove and let sit until the chocolate reaches room temperature.
Pour onto your favorite frozen treat. Store at room temperature (I use a glass jar) for up to one month… but who really thinks this will last that long?
