Sweet potatoes are sweet, but when you slow cook them, they are so much more sweeter.
I started off with unpeeled sweet potatoes and then washed and peeled them. I use about one potato per person.
After peeling the potatoes, chop each into thirds. This makes the servings a little more manageable size.
Put into a crock pot or slow cooker with two pats of butter, salt and pepper to taste on top. Put on the lid and leave be for 4 hours on low.
These will be so sweet and delicious that everyone will swear you added brown sugar!
4 Sweet Potatoes – peeled and chopped into thirds
2 tablespoons butter
Salt and pepper to taste
